Hawaii CRS State Chair
Chuck Garrett: REALTOR®, CRB, CRP, CRS is Chief Operating Officer of LIST Sotheby's International Realty in Honolulu. Chuck has been passionately involved in real estate sales, management and technology since 1988. He is also actively involved with the Hawaii Association of REALTORS, the Hawaii Council of Real Estate Broker Managers (CRB) and Hawaii Certified Residential Specialists (CRS). A Certified Relocation Professional (CRP), Chuck also serves as Relocation Director, overseeing the company's business development, corporate relocation and broker-to-broker referral initiatives and is an active member of the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council (WERC) and the Relocation Directors Council (RDC).
Julie Meier: REALTOR, ABR, CRS, GRI is the Broker-in-Charge at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hawai'i Realty. Julie was the former CRS Hawaii Chapter President, former HBR Board President, CRS Realtor of the Year in 2014, and the 2015 HBR Realtor of the Year. For finance related boards, Julie has been the vice-chair for Hawaii Association Realtor's finance committee for 4 years and chair of the Honolulu Board of Realtor's audit committee for 5 years. Julie chaired the investment policy task force and currently sits on the investment committee for HAR.
Mike Nishizawa: REALTOR ABR, CRS, GRI is the Broker-Owner of Palm Tree Realty. Mike graduated from Castle High school and received his BBA from the University of Hawaii. Mike proudly served 7 years in the Hawaii Air National Guard with the 201st Communication Squadron, as an Air Traffic Controller. He was employed 28 years in management in the airline catering business with Marriott, Caterair, Sky Chef and Chelsea International. Mike built a Bale Sandwich business in 2001-2002 and sold the location in 2003. He became licensed in real estate in 2003, earned his broker's license and started Palm Tree Realty in 2009. Mike has been a member of CRS since 2011. Mike's family includes his wife Diane, who is a supervisor at the Kapahulu Library, daughter Jan a Corporate Attorney in Los Angeles and Lori a Veterinarian in Virginia.
Tricia Nekota: ABR, CRS, SRES, REALTOR-ASSOCIATE with Vesta Hawaii Real Estate. Tricia's passion for education lead her to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Chaminade University. Shortly thereafter, Tricia became a REALTOR in 2007 and quickly earned her CRS designation in 2010. Tricia has been actively involved with CRS since 2010 serving on various committees and the Board of Directors. Taking the Chairmanship position in 2016 under the new organization's title as Hawaii CRS offered many changes, challenges, and growth as well. Tricia is looking forward to another year offering a variety of opportunities for Hawaii CRS members and hope to engage more Realtors to join the Hawaii CRS Ohana. On her spare time, Tricia enjoys going to the movies, hiking, fishing, camping, shopping and above all going to Disneyland with her husband Travis, two sons; Tanner and Hunter.
Sunny Lee-Oshiro: CSP,e-pro,SRES, REALTOR-ASSOCIATE with Primary Properties. Sunny is an energetic and passionate Real Estate agent licensed since 2007. Sunny is involved with many local charities such as the Venture Club of Honolulu for over 4 years, helping out with American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Lupus Foundation, HUGS, AIDS Foundation & Muscular Dystrophy just to name a few. She is also an active NAR, HBR & HAR member. Education is important to her. Sunny strives to participate in nationally recognized and respected training programs to keep her abreast to the ever changing real estate market. This year as the CRS Membership State Leader , her goal is to make sure all Realtors here in Hawaii know how important and FANTASTIC it is to be a part of Hawaii CRS and to encourage them to take part in the various events put on throughout the year.
