CRS Chair Update

I enjoyed meeting and seeing so many of you at the recent CAR Convention in Broomfield!  We had a very successful CRS Week and conference and had 15 NEW CRS DESIGNEES sign up to become CRS Members! A big thank you to everyone who attended Rich Sand's Win-Win class, helped out at our CRS Booth or stopped by to visit and attended our CRS Networking Reception.  Though the conference attendance was slightly down this year we had our most successful conference ever.  We would like to recognize and congratulate the winners of our booth drawings!

  • Alphie Hutmacher - Colorado Wine & Gift Basket
  • Kathy Saidy - Fall Flower Basket
  • Carol Jaffe - 2-Day CRS Class

Your feedback and suggestions for next year's conference are appreciated so please reach out to a board member or local networking chair to share your ideas and comments. This is your organization and we want to continue to improve all that we do to make it as valuable as possible for all CRS members.

I would like to ask for your help.  We have set up a Colorado CRS Facebook page and have put a link below for you to click on and ask you all to like our page.  This is where we will have information on upcoming events, photos from events, new member announcements and also an opportunity for you to share referrals.  Thank you in advance for your participation!

Lastly, I ask that you read the link below concerning our first annual CRS Gala at the Curtis Hotel in downtown Denver.  This will be a black tie event, something new and fun to recognize our CRS Leadership and members so please add it to your calendar.  You will be receiving a formal invitation in the next few weeks and we will have an event sign up page as well.  We are working to make our Colorado CRS organization a better networking and idea sharing group and in order to do so we have to meet in person!  You are the stars of real estate in Colorado and we look forward to seeing more of you through our many events.  I appreciate your support in all that we do and as always please reach out to myself or other board members if there is something we can do to better serve you.

To your success,
Sandy Borman

Leadership Spotlight
Deborah Hansen, CRS, GRI
Finance Leader
I have been enjoying my career in Real Estate since 1999 when I moved to Colorado.  At that time,  I joined The Group Inc. as a REALTOR® and have remained with the company since.  In 2000 I became a CRS member because I was encouraged to do so by the top REALTORS® I worked with!  It has been a great organization to be part of with the great networking and educational opportunities it continues to provide for me.

How to Promote Your CRS Designation

We were asked at the CAR Conference how to better promote your CRS Designation so here are a few ideas:

  • Make sure you have your CRS emblem on your business cards and after your name - I noticed at the conference that many of you do not have it on your cards.
  • Add it to your property flyers along with a brief description of why working with a CRS is beneficial for them.
  • Promote on all advertising - newsprint, magazines, open house ads, flyers, etc.
  • Make sure you add it to your name on Facebook and all other social media outlets.
  • Do a short video on why you are a CRS - send it to us as well and we will post on our CRS Colorado FB Page.
